I apologize for not writing this week, but my wrist has been bugging me and I didn't want to agrivate it. But it has been feeling muchos better! Which is good...

Nine days left. We're down to single digits. ...it's kind of scary. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I go home. I will be sooo bored without rehersals to go to and things to be at at this specific time, etc. The boredom could be good, though. Excerpts for my PA auditons will be posted August 1st so I will need to really work on those. I plan to do really well on this audition. I have a lot of goals for this year...pieces I want to play, things I want to do to improve my playing as much as possible. I want to be able to apply to EMF this winter and get in without being waitlisted. I want to be able to come back next year (or at a different festival) and be able to really compete with the other violists. Not be behind them in level, but to be on par. That is my goal. My big goal....


Well, I planned on sitting down and typing for a while, but I have to go to my chamber rehersal. I'll write more soon- Concert tonight includes Mozart's Jupiter, Respighi's Church Windows, and Sparkle. ...the latter will be interesting...
